Career, Motherhood & a Thousand Little Steps

I didn’t have a traditional path into fitness and wellness.

While my high powered corporate days saw me obtaining my professional CA CPA designation,  C-Suite level roles and partnership at national professional services firms.

The process into being “a fit and healthy working woman” was anything but easy.

When I finally committed to exercise and eating better while working full-time, I quickly learned:

“There’s NO quality practical solutions for working women in wellness”

Not the traditional path into fitness…

This may surprise you… I didn’t start into fitness because I love to exercise. I’m not a gym-rat or “health nut”.

Yes, I’ve won world fitness championships but that was all AFTER I had gotten to a place that I was unhealthy & unhappy.

I started into exercise because I needed to get healthier and happier as a working woman. You see, I know first-hand that life is too short to be wishing for happier days ahead.

My own mother (a working mom of 4 kids) was killed in a car accident because she fell asleep driving home from her job exhausted.

Stressed from overload.

Tired of doing-it-all.

I had a new baby in my arms along plus 30lbs of excess weight. And I realized that I was headed down the same path.

In that single, life-changing moment I made a decision…

I decided my children will know and remember a happy & healthy mom NOW. Before it’s too late.

I discovered there was NOTHING 😩 in fitness and nutrition that fully addressed my needs as a busy working woman.

I started by joining a womens-only gym and learned to lift weights and eat healthier.  So I doubled down and learned how to do it while working full-time.  I learned:

>> How to lose weight (and keep it off) and then up-level my fitness beyond my wildest imagination of what was possible for an accountant.

>> How to make time for exercise while working full-time and raising a family (which makes me a better mother and better professional).

>> How to eat healthy and feed my family even during my busiest workweeks without meal prepping or take-out.

>> How to up-level my fitness without spending hours at the gym.

Not the quick-fix gimmicky stuff the fitness and diet industry is infamously known for.

I’ve helped thousands of working women not only eat better and exercise but how to DO IT SUSTAINABLY so you have a lifetime of better health.

I’m able to do this, because I coach what I know. I’ve lived it.

I’ve coached hundreds of working women personally to lose weight (and keep it off), and get into shape using the exact processes that won me fitness championships and fitness magazine spreads while working full-time as a corporate leader and mom.

A Little About Me

3x World Pro fitness champion, internationally published health author & certified trainer.

My biggest ‘whys’ are my two kids, Curtis and Faith.  I’m married to the love of my life, Tim.

15+years in a corporate career including as a COO, Director of Finance and University instructor.

I “get” this lifestyle because I’ve lived it. I did this while working full-time with kids.
